Futures Trade Copying

Rithmic to Rithmic

Copying between Rithmic accounts lets one account lead and the rest follow, even when they sit at different prop firms or on different Rithmic systems. Each login is connected once on its own system, and every account on it can be a master or a follower. NinjaTrader prop accounts that log in with Rithmic credentials count as Rithmic here, so they can join the same setup, each sized in whole contracts to suit its balance.

Many futures prop firms issue Rithmic logins, and Rithmic carries the orders and market data for those accounts. Each login belongs to one Rithmic system and can hold several accounts, which traders reach from front ends such as R|Trader Pro and NinjaTrader.

Why copy from Rithmic to Rithmic?

Holding several Rithmic accounts, often evaluations or funded accounts at more than one prop firm, means entering every order again on each of them. With a copier you trade a single Rithmic account and the others follow, each with a contract size that suits its own balance and drawdown limit.

How it works

TradeCopier.cloud keeps a connection open to each Rithmic login from its own servers. When the master opens or closes a position, the copier places the matching order on every follower, using that follower's sizing mode, symbol aliases and Additional TP/SL in ticks.

Things to consider

Each follower needs to be able to trade the contracts the master trades, or have an alias that maps them, such as a full-size contract to its micro. Prop firms set their own limits on position size and on copy trading, so check each firm's current rules before you switch copying on, and start with a one-contract test.

Frequently asked questions

Can several Rithmic accounts follow the same master?

Yes. One master can drive several Rithmic followers, and each follower keeps its own sizing mode, aliases and account protection settings.

Can my Rithmic accounts be at different prop firms?

Yes. The accounts don't need to share a firm, as long as each login can be connected to TradeCopier.cloud.

Can a Rithmic account copy a forex or CFD account?

Yes. A Rithmic follower can copy a forex/CFD master once you alias each CFD to a contract (NAS100=MNQ, for instance), and it trades whole contracts. MT4 and MT5 followers can copy a Rithmic master too, with aliases from the dated contracts to their CFDs.
